The Hoekstra (UK) Network Privacy Policy

Definition

The Hoekstra (UK) Network consists, but does not exclude other parts, of the Hoekstra (UK) websites, registered domain names, customers, subscribers and the Hoekstra (UK) enterprise.

Preamble

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. That is why we have adopted this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy lets you know how your personal information is processed and may be used. We promise that we will take steps to use your personal information only in ways that are compatible with this Privacy Policy. The following policies are in effect for the Web pages, Mobile telephone contents, newsletters, discussion lists and opt-in announcement lists, owned and operated by the Hoekstra (UK) Network.

A quick education

Brace yourself for some techy stuff: Every computer connected to the Internet is given a domain name and a set of numbers, which serve as that computer's "Internet Protocol" (IP) address. When a visitor requests a page from Hoekstra (UK) website, our Web servers automatically recognize that visitor's domain name and IP address. The domain name and IP address reveal nothing personal about you, other than the IP address from which you have accessed our site.

Our Web servers do not automatically record e-mail addresses of the visitors - do not believe the ridiculous scare-stories: it is actually impossible to do so. This is not a scare story though: If you are running Windows you are almost certainly, yet unwittingly, running malicious spyware and attack programs.
